DESIGN SYSTEM

In order to keep our UI consistency cross-products, to speed up our time to market, and to reduce costs, we use an internal Design System build in REACT.js and using Atomic Design mindset as a reference. We see the creation of a Design System as an incremental process, adopting the basic building blocks (aka Design Tokens) and then moving to more complex parts of components.

WHAT WE LEARNED

- To manage an international team in a remote setup is challenging but also a great opportunity to innovate on methods, processes in order to keep a collaborative environment. 

- How to optimize a mature product based on User Insights with its own Design System and a solid Agile ecosystem.
